This project was part of an upgrade to two retail units in the popular Temple Bar area of Dublin. The cast iron pavement lights were designed to let in more light and prevent water ingress to this heritage building.
Studio 3 Architecture working on behalf of Ardstone Capital appointed Lissadell contractors to carry out the work. Hargreaves Foundry got the contract based on our track record and reputation earned in Ireland, along with that of our sister company Hargreaves Foundry Drainage, for delivering quality cast iron products.
We provided four cast iron pavement lights, fully glazed and manufactured to meet the Westminster Council standard specification for cast iron road furniture and painted to our specification. We also provided clear instructions for the contractors for installation.
